| We hope to answer some of the questions you may have about our services in the following list of questions and answers. If you have more questions about what we can do for you, please contact us. 1. What's the best way to get a photo restoration quote? There are several ways to get a quote on a photograph that you want us to work on: the BEST way BY FAR is for us to inspect the original first hand, which will require you to mail it to us. The SECOND best way is to email your photo scan to us. You can email a scan to us at photodoc@photodocimaging.com. 2. Are your prints actual photo prints or do you print them from your computer's printer? Although inks and printer technology has come a long way in the recent past, we know that the best prints are done by a photo finisher on regular light sensitive photographic paper. All of our prints are supplied by our finishing lab as a real photo on real photo paper! 3. I see that some other photo restoration and photo enhancement sites provide a free print with the order. Why don't you? Because we don't charge you for products or services you might not want! Check out the prices, and think about it: You are not really getting anything for free. The full charge for that 4X6 is worked into the restoration charge. You might not want a 4X6. You might want an 8X10, or wallets only, or maybe you don't want ANY prints. Our prices are lower than many sites out there, and we are not going to charge ALL of our customers for something they may not even want, and then call it "FREE". We want to keep prices down for you, and give you ONLY the products and services you want or ask for. 4. What is your turnaround time? Please give us at least two weeks to complete a restoration. Although many orders are completed before this time frame, some can take longer. We will give you a time estimate with every firm quote. 5. So you can convert all my slides and shoe boxes full of photos to digital images? Please understand that we are a PROFESSIONAL QUALITY PHOTO RESTORATION SERVICE. Our services include restoration, colorizing, and manipulation of your precious photographs, so you can have the photo you once had, or the photo you always wanted. We are NOT A DIGITAL ARCHIVING SERVICE. We cannot handle the huge volume and time involved in converting boxes of old slides or photos to digital images. Sorry, maybe in the future.
